It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alonzo Haralson, a beloved brother, father, and cherished friend, who departed this life on April 28, 2026, at the age of 69. Alonzo was born on January 30, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan. He devoted his life to serving others and spent many fulfilling years as a boiler operator with the Detroit Board of Education.

Alonzo's kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to those around him will leave a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during a public viewing, which will be held at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, May 15, 2026, beginning at 4:00pm. A Family Hour will take place at the Word of Faith Christian Center on Saturday, May 16th, at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. These gatherings will offer an opportunity for all to celebrate Alonzo's life and the love he shared with those around him.
