Brenda  J.  Boudreaux  (Shipp )

Brenda Joyce Boudreaux (nee Shipp) was born January 30, 1948 at Herman Keifer Hospital to Willie Lee Walters and Lilliard Peotra Shipp. She was the ninth of ten survivng children (Freddie Lee, Willie, Barbara Jean, Lilliard Jr, Jerry, Lillian, Larry, Gary, and Gregory). The family settled in Detroit Michigan by way of Memphis Tennessee.
Brenda graduated from Tappan Jr High School in June of 1962 and Mackenzie High School in 1965. She graduated from WCCC in 1990 with an A.A. degree in Hospitality Management.
As she entered Mackenzie High School, she met Malcolm Anthony Boudreaux of New Orleans, Louisiana and married him October 28, 1966. February 24, 1968 she gave birth to their only child, Stephanie Rene'.
Brenda leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter Stephanie, only survivng brother, Gary, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, grand nieces, nephews, and cousins, and great grand nieces, nephews, and cousins, and other relatives and friends
Special things about my Mom:
She loved her first car (1971 mustard yellow Gremlin), The Temptations, Sean Connery as James Bond, ice cream and cookies for dinner, Saturday afternoon Creature Feature movies (my favorite childhood memories), and most notably the Queen of the Side Eye when I would say something inappropriate which was quite often.
