MY LIFE
Clarence Eugene Lundy was born to Vera Carter (who preceded him in death) on June 2, 1950 in Detroit, Michigan.
Clarence was educated in the Highland Park Public School System, where he graduated in 1969. Clarence was very active in sports, playing football and was a member of the swim team and track and field team. Clarence briefly attended Highland Park Community College. Clarence went to the U. S. Army and became an avionics mechanic. Clarence was honorably discharged in 1980 as a Specialist 4 (SP 4).
At an early age Clarence joined and was baptized at Peace Baptist Church. He later joined Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church where he became an ordained deacon, worked as a Sunday School teacher, was a member of the security team and former member of the culinary team. Clarence favorite song was Jesus You are the Center of My Joy.
In 1998 Clarence married Costan and they became a blended family with children, Andre, Tom Edward and Christine.
Clarence worked for Chrysler for 16 years as a tool and die setter. Later Clarence worked at Corinthian Baptist Church as a sanitation engineer until his health failed him and he had to retire.
Clarence interests included landscaping, traveling, helping others in need and spending time with his family.
The Lord being gracious and merciful, called Clarence home on February 19, 2025. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Costan, son, Andre Lundy, Detroit, Michigan, (Andre’s daughter, Kyla, bonus daughter, Jalante), bonus son, Tom Edward Limuel, Jr. , Akron, Ohio, (Tom’s sons, NaZay and Tom III) and (Tom’s daughters, Kiana, NaTori, bonus daughter, Kyerra), bonus daughter, Christine Bostic, Detroit, Michigan, (Christine’s sons, Douglas III and ChrisSean), half-brother, Raymond Solomon Jr., Albany, Georgia, half-brother, Alfred Solomon, Sr., Georgia, half-sister, Valerie Solomon, Albany, Georgia, sister-in-law Gwendolyn Solomon, Alabama, brother-in-law, Bernard (wife, Vickki) Ellis, Lynchburg, Virginia, brother-in-laws, Samuel Ellis and Chris Ellis, Sr., Lynchburg, Virginia, sister-in-law, Torrey, Ellis, Alexandria, Virginia, sister-in-law, Lori Ellis, Upper Marlboro, Maryland, uncle (surrogate brother) Leroy (wife, Freda) Lundy Jr., Detroit, Michigan, uncle (surrogate brother) Kelvin Lundy, Detroit, Michigan, a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great grandchildren, cousins, and numerous friends.
