Obituary for Doris Clay (Conerly )
Doris Clay was born in Bogalusa, LA on March 26, 1935 to the late Theodore and Norma Conerly. She was their only child. She was employed and retired from Ford Motor Company as a seamstress.
Doris enjoyed family and friends and that enjoyment was returned to her. She resided at the Bicentennial Towers for 25 plus years, in which she also enjoyed socializing, card games (spades), attending various celebrations and other social events.
Doris traveled her path to heaven on January 1, 2015 after a long and blessed 79 years of life. She is survived by daughter, Tracey Lynn Conerly of Ypsilanti Township, MI, grandson, Brandon Jamelle Sanders of Romulus, MI and great granddaughters Briana Lynn Sanders and Sofia Shamin Sanders of Romulus, MI. She is survived by a host of cousins and friends.
