Clyde White was born April 13, 1948, in El Dorado, Arkansas, to the parentage of Freeman and Zolon White.
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child.”
1 Cor 13:11
Clyde received his early childhood education in El Dorado, Arkansas, and later through the Detroit Public School system.
“...but when I became a man, I put away childish things” 1 Cor 13:11
Clyde worked in the automotive industry, working for Chrysler, General Motors, and Ford. After leaving the workforce, he chose to build upon his God-given talents by pursuing a career in plumbing, where he continued to serve others with skill and dedication.
“Whoever believeth in him” John 3:15
On April 12, 2026, our Heavenly Father called him home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Armour-White, parents, Freeman and Zolon White, 3 brothers, James (J.B.) White, Robert (Nan) White, and Jimmy White.
“I will not leave you comfortless” John 14:18
Clyde leaves to cherish his memories: 1 daughter- Arianna White Craddock (Mark); 3 grandchildren, Constance Craddock, Amanda Craddock-Cofer (Jamie), and Finis Craddock; 2 sisters, Ethel Banks & Mary Jane Walton; 1 brother, Archie Lee White Sr.; nephews, Richard Walton (Juanita), Kenneth White, Archie White Jr. (Gina), Gregory White; nieces, Kim White Gipson (Frederick), Keisha White; a bonus daughter, Lakeysa Taylor, whom he affectionately called “Granny”; a special great niece, Regina Walton, also known as “Pie”, and a host of other relatives and friends.
