With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Smith, a beloved mother, aunt, and cherished friend, who departed this life on October 17, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on August 1, 1957, in Pontiac, Michigan, Diane spent her life dedicated to her family and her work, where she touched the lives of many with her warm heart and dedicated spirit.

Diane was a proud mother to her son, Quincy Smith, and a loving aunt to her niece, Jontae Jackson. She was known for her uplifting spirit, her unwavering strength, and her profound ability to bring comfort and joy to those around her. Diane's legacy of love and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Diane will be honored through a public viewing at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, October 31, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The funeral service will take place at New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ on Saturday, November 1st, at 11:00 AM, following a Family Hour which begins at 10:00 AM. Diane will be laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park in Clinton Township, MI.

Diane's memory will live on through her family and many friends, who will remember her for the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the indelible impact she made on her community. May she rest in eternal peace.
