Edward Hamilton

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Hamilton, beloved father, devoted husband. Edward was born on July 5, 1961, in Detroit, Michigan, and left us on July 23, 2025, at the age of 64.

Edward's life was marked by resilience and dedication. As a Hi-Lo Driver and Materials Handler, Edward was known for his strong work ethic and unwavering reliability. His colleagues regarded him not just as a skilled worker, but as a mentor and friend.

Edward's greatest joy came from his family. Edward's love for his family was boundless, and he was a source of support and encouragement to them throughout his life.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Edward's life will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. Prior to the service, a Family Hour will take place at 10:30 AM, allowing loved ones to gather for reflection and remembrance. A public viewing will be available on Friday, August 15th, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, providing an opportunity for friends and family to pay their respects.

Following the service, Edward will be laid to rest at the burial site located at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit. His memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
