Florence Walton

Florence Walton, born on October 31, 1957, in, MI, passed away on June 12, 2024. A dedicated Teacher, Florence touched the lives of many through her passion for education and commitment to shaping young minds.

Florence Walton will forever be remembered by her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Mattie M. Walton; her mother, Mattie Walton; and her brother, Isadore Walton. In their time of grief, may they find solace in the memories shared and the impact Florence had on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her legacy will be honored during the scheduled services. The visitation will take place on Friday, June 28, 2024, starting at 4:00pm at the James H. Cole Home For Funerals - NW Chapel in Detroit, MI. Following this, a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 29th, with the ceremony starting at 11:00am at Grace Christian Methodist Episcopal in Detroit.

With a heart full of kindness and a spirit that inspired those around her, Florence's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing that her influence will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
