Willie Bell Florence

Willie Bell Florence was born June 25, 1927 in Steubenville, Ohio as the only child to Claude & Marie Antoinette Green.
She married Rufus Florence in 1946 of this union 3 daughters were born. This loving union lasted until his death, April 29, 1996.
Willie accepted Christ at an early age and attended public schools in Steubenville, Ohio. Willie retired from the Detroit Board of Education in 1994. She will always be remembered for her signature red lipstick & red pedicure and her love of dance.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Florence; her parents Claude & Marie A. Green and her Daughter, Terry Neely.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Cora Doss & Janice Florence: Six Grand-Children: Darnita (Brian) Lindsey, Brandon (Carlen) Neely, Kelli Collins, Iris (Hastings) Lewis, Janine Greene, & Jessica Greene. Eight Great-Grandkids: Whitney Neely, Brandon (Sidney) Neely Jr., Jordyn Lindsey, Brailen Neely, Baili Neely, Taylor Collins, Hastings Lewis Jr., & Yasmin Lewis. Three Great-Great Grandchildren: Skylar Neely, Braedon Neely, & Scarlett Neely.
