It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gaynella Flood, who departed this life on December 20, 2025, at the age of 74. Born on October 23, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, Gaynella lived a life marked by resilience, love, and a steadfast commitment to her family and community.

Gaynella's journey led her to become a dedicated worker in the automotive industry, where she spent many years contributing her skills and spirit. Those who knew her were touched not only by her work ethic but also by her warmth and generosity that enriched the lives of those around her.

Gaynella's spirit will be remembered fondly by family and friends who were fortunate to know her and share in her life's journey.

In honor of Gaynella's memory, a public viewing will be held at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM, allowing friends and community members to pay their respects. Family and loved ones will gather for a Family Hour at the Salvation Army Church on Thursday, January 8th at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who carry her story in their hearts.
