With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Gloria Jean Bailey, a beloved mother, sister, and friend. Born on February 12, 1948, in Detroit, MI, Gloria lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family. She was a proud homemaker who nurtured her loved ones and created a warm and supportive environment for them.

Gloria departed from this world on January 22, 2026. Gloria is remembered for her gentle spirit and unwavering support, and her legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Gloria's life and honor her memory. A public viewing will be held at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Sunday, February 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM. This will be followed by a Funeral Service on Saturday, February 9th, at 1:00 PM, with a Family Hour preceding at 12:30 PM.

In this time of mourning, we find solace in the memories we shared with Gloria a wonderful woman whose love will forever resonate in our lives. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide us.
