Bettye L. Harris

Bettye Harris was born January 27, 1954 in Greensboro, AL. Bettye graduated from high school and set her sights on the Motor City for better employment opportunities.

Bettye worked at Sanders Bakery (Highland Park) as a baker, an operator at Palace Quality (Detroit) and a seamstress at Mexican Industries (Detroit).

Bettye enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, making ceramics and most important being a wife, mother, grandmother and a friend.

Bettye is survived by her husband Winford Harris, children Winfred, Will (Chrystal) and Waverly Harris along with six grandchildren.
