Harold Steven Hemphill Sr.

Harold Steven Hemphill, Sr., 65, of Covington, KY, formerly of Bowling Green, KY and Detroit, MI, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was a retired gun welder for GM Automotive. Harold was a member of the Northeast Church of God and Christ in Detroit, MI. He also enjoyed playing bingo, slot machines and traveling. Harold was preceded in death by his son: Harold Steven Hemphill, Jr.; parents and his 3 brothers. He is survived by his 3 sisters; Diane Hemphill, Margo Vaughn and Rita Hemphill and his special cousin and caretaker: Nannette Ross. A visitaion will be held from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at James H. Cole Funeral Home, 2624 W. Grand Boulevard, Detroit, MI. 48235 with a funeral on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment: Acacia Park Cemetery. Connley Brothers Funeral Home is assisting the family.
