Bennie L. Hill Jr.

Mr. Bennie Lee Hill, Jr. departed this life and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 20, 2014. He married the love of his life, JoAnn Hill on May 31, 1997. They lived and worked in the Adrian and Detroit, Michigan communities.

Lee was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas from the union of the late Bennie Lee Hill and his wonderful 98 year old mother Lucy (Taylor) Hill. He is preceded in death by a brother James Hill and Sister. He will be greatly missed by his wife Joann, his children: son Marzette Hill (grandchildren-Chariah and Quevin) and daughter April Hill (grandchildren-Victoria, Alexis, Briana, Xavier, & Elijah); great grandchildren: Marquise, Ryan Seay, Jr., Justin Seay, London Harris; his mother: Lucy Hill, brother: Noble Graves, and sister: Effie Evans; host of nieces, nephews, relatives, wonderful neighbors, extended family, and friends.

Shortly after graduation from Northwestern High School in Detroit, Michigan, Lee proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. Lee embarked upon a professional career that included serving in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff and a 31+ year career within the automotive industry, at plants which included Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors. Lee was an avid car collector, enjoyed renovating and restoring antique automobiles. We love Lee and we will all miss him dearly.
