James Cleveland Brown

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of James Cleveland Brown, aged 88, on August 11, 2025. Born on December 23, 1936, in Marianna, Florida, James lived a life filled with purpose and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.

A proud veteran of the United States Army, James served his country with honor and integrity before embarking on a fulfilling career at Form Motor Company. His unwavering work ethic and commitment to excellence defined his professional life, while his warm spirit and kind heart touched the lives of those around him.

He took great pride in his family, nurturing deep connections and imparting values of love, respect, and resilience.

A visitation in honor of James will take place on Sunday, August 17th, from 9:00am - 9:00pm at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A family hour will be held on Monday, August 18th, at 10:30am, leading into the funeral service at 11:00am at the funeral home. All are invited to gather in remembrance of a remarkable man.

James will be laid to rest at Hampton National Cemetery in Hampton, VA, where he will be honored for his service to his country and remembered for his loving spirit.
