Born on May 31, 1944, in Pensacola, Florida, James spent his life in pursuit of hard work and family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew him.

James, a devoted husband to Quinteen Middleton, a loving father, and dedicated friend embodied strength and compassion throughout his life. His wisdom and character transcended formal schooling, teaching those around him valuable life lessons and the importance of resilience.

James had a remarkable ability to light up a room with his infectious smile and hearty laughter, and those who were fortunate enough to know him will remember him as a beacon of joy and hope.

The family invites relatives and friends to join them on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 1:00 PM for a celebration of James's life at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - NW Chapel. A family hour will precede the service at 12:30 PM.
