John W. Conner, Sr., of Detroit, MI passed away on July 3, 2024. He was born on March 29, 1933, in Quitman, MS.

Throughout his career as a steel worker, John displayed unwavering commitment and skill in his trade, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working alongside him. His dedication to his work was admirable and served as an inspiration to many.

John goes on to join his beloved wife, Mary Conner in eternal rest. Together, they shared a bond that stood the test of time and was a source of strength for both.

He is survived by his son, John W. Conner, Jr., who will forever cherish the memories they created together and the invaluable lessons imparted by his father.

The visitation in memory of John W. Conner, Sr. will be held on July 14, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the James H. Cole Home For Funerals - NW Chapel in Detroit, MI. The funeral service will take place on July 15th, starting at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

John will be remembered for his hard work, kindness towards others, and the love he shared with those closest to him. May his soul rest in peace as his memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew him.
