It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of John C. Jamison, who departed this life on July 6, 2025, at the remarkable age of 100. Born on September 29, 1924, in West Point, Mississippi, John lived a life rich with experiences and filled with visions of hard work, dedication, and love.

A proud veteran of the Army, John served his country with honor before transitioning to a long and fulfilling career at Chrysler Automotive, where he spent many years contributing to the production that powered American automobiles.

John's journey brought him to Detroit, MI, where he shared countless beautiful moments with his beloved wife, Pauline Jamison. Their enduring love served as a beacon of hope and inspiration to everyone around them. He cherished every moment spent with his family who brought him immense joy and pride.

As we reflect on John's life, we celebrate the values he instilled in his family and friends. He was a man of wisdom and kindness, whose laughter echoed long after the conversations ended. John's storytelling and captivating spirit united generations, reminding us all of the strength of family and community.

Funeral services will be held at James H. Cole Northwest Chapel on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 1:00 pm, where family and friends are invited to honor and celebrate his extraordinary life. A Family Hour will take place beforehand at 12:30 pm, allowing loved ones to share cherished memories. There will be a Public Viewing on Friday, July 11th, beginning at 4:00 pm, as we come together to pay our final respects.

John will be laid to rest on July 15, 2025, at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, where he will find eternal peace surrounded by the love he carried throughout his life.

In this moment of loss, let us honor John C. Jamison not with sadness, but with the joy of his spirit, the lessons he taught us, and the love he spread. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.
