Jonah James Beasley

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jonah James Beasley, a bright light in our lives, who departed this world on July 24, 2025, at the tender age of 20. Born on May 23, 2005, in Detroit, Michigan, Jonah was a kind and spirited young man whose vibrant energy touched everyone he met.

Jonah exhibited an insatiable curiosity and a passion for learning that defined his years as a dedicated student. He brought joy and laughter to those around him, forging friendships that will be cherished forever. His loving parents, Peggy and William McMichael, will remember him as a son who radiated love, compassion, and an unyielding zest for life.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jonah's life during the following services at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A public viewing will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM, allowing all who knew Jonah to pay their respects and share in their memories. A Family Hour will precede the Funeral Service on Monday, August 4th, at 12:30 PM, with the service itself beginning at 1:00 PM.

Jonah will be laid to rest on August 4, 2025, at Westlawn Cemetery in Wayne, MI. Those who wish to honor Jonah's spirit are encouraged to bring stories and reflections, as we gather to celebrate a life filled with potential, kindness, and a love that will remain in our hearts.

While we grieve the loss of Jonah, we also celebrate the moments we shared and the profound impact he had on our lives. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
