Kattie Mae Holder

Kattie Mae Holder, 82, of Detroit, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. She is survived by daughters, Kathleen Hatton, Annie Holder, Yolanda Holder and sons, Henry Barber and Lee Barber, brother- Robert Williams, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mann and Edna Lee Caver, son, Thomas D. Barber,  sisters, Jessie Parham, Fanny Hickman, Jerry Moore and brothers D.C. Caver and Melvin Caver.

Kattie dedicated her life to raising her children and instilled in them a love for family, reading, music,and cooking. Kattie believed that no child should ever suffer because their families could not afford health care and quietly spent the past 55 years donating whatever she could to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
