Keith Williams

Keith Williams was born on April 30,1955 in Detroit, Michigan.  He was the first-born child from the union of Doris Jean Williams and the late James Edward Williams.

Keith graduated from Northwestern High School in 1973.  Post high school Keith found employment at the General Motors Tech Plant.

Keith loved his family! He was a proud father of two beautiful daughters, Nakia Shipp (Janet Shipp) and Shantia Mclendon (Darlene Mclendon), and the eldest of five siblings: Edward, Calvin, and Rhonda Williams.  Keith’s baby brother Michael Williams proceeded him in death.

Keith was a “fly” dresser and appreciated the finer things in life. He was also very generous and kind. He loved sports and being physically active. Keith would be spotted jogging around his neighborhood on any given day.

His life will be forever cherished in memories by his mother Doris Williams, daughters Nakia Shipp and Shantia Mclendon, both from Detroit, Michigan. Grandchildren Mathew Simpson, Major McLendon, and Sommer Shipp. Stepmother, Mary Williams.  Siblings: Edward Williams, Calvin Williams, and Rhonda Williams (Cass) all of Detroit, Michigan. Nephews: Tyree Williams (Randi), James Cory Williams, Brent Lee, Calvin Williams, and Curtis Huey. Nieces: Janetta Williams, Tiffini Williams, Brittnee Williams; and a host of relatives and friends.
