With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved LaKesha Denise Montgomery, who left us too soon on January 23, 2026, at the age of 35. LaKesha was born on November 23, 1990, in Detroit, MI, where she lived her life spreading joy, love, and her passion for beauty as a talented hairdresser.

LaKesha was more than just a stylist; she was a beacon of light to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm smile and contagious laughter brightened the days of her friends, family, and clients alike. She took great pride in her work and made it her mission to help others feel confident and beautiful.

Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate LaKesha's life during her public viewing on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM, and her funeral service on Saturday, February 7th, at 3:30 PM, both taking place at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. Prior to the service, there will be a Family Hour at 3:00 PM.
