Larry David Williamson

Larry David Williamson, May 20 1968-Febuary 4, 2024

Larry “David” Williamson was raised in Detroit, Michigan.  He was proud to serve in the United States Army Reserves.   He received a Bachelor’s Degree of Social Work from Wayne State University.   He worked for Wayne County Community College District and The city of Detroit.  Larry will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends alike. Larry was predeceased by his sister Stephanie Davis, grandmother  Alyne Williamson,  grandfather  King David Williamson.  He leaves to cherish his memory and tutelage to his beloved Mother Lyndia Grant, son Terrell McGee ,  granddaughter Tameah McGee,  longtime partner and friend Christina and Celine Usher,  father Larry Richardson, sisters Shana Whitfield and Linneitta Dixon, brother Shaneil Lewis,  Aunt  Saundra Kidd and a host of nieces and nephews.                               His family would like to express appreciation for taking care of Larry at James H. Cole Funeral home, 2624 W. Grand Blvd Detroit, MI 48208.  Visitation is Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 5:00 pm.  Family hour is February 16, 2024 at 3:00pm-3:30pm.
