Laverne Pressley

On June 17, 1956 Laverne Pressley was born to the late Gerald Daniels and Elaine Clark at Trinity Hospital in Detroit Michigan.

Laverne was affectionately known as “Biddie was raised in the infamous Harmon garden projects.

She attended Harmon Garden elementary, Ruddiman middle school, and finally Cody high school.

Laverne a was very smart, funny courageous, spontaneous, outspoken, irresistible, bold, caring, and loving person.

She was family oriented, and a spiritual God-fearing woman.

On April 8, 2025 at 9:03 PM Laverne Pressley transitioned onto her next stage of life.

On her voyage, she proceeds in death her First son Vernon Pressley Jr. Her Mother and Father Elaine Clark, and Gerald Daniels. Her eldest brother Gerald Daniels Jr (spook) her sister, Valerie (Vally) Larita Clark(Big Reed) and Ruby, Clark (Ruby Dee).

Stepbrother William McDowell (pumpkin) last, but not least Elijah (Eli) Wright (My Honey)..

She leaves to cherish her loving memories with her husband, Vernon Presley, and her sister-in-law, Mary Wells (Mary Francis).

She leaves her daughter, Tameca and son-in-law David(Tony). Her son Jason(Boog-a-lot) and daughter-in-law Jennifer.

Two granddaughters Olivia (chic) and Jazmine. Four grandsons Ja-Shawn, in Detroit, Jaylan, Brenson, and Keon.

Two great grandchildren, Ja- Shawn Jr and Ma’Nairyah .

Her Brother Derrick (Byrd) stepsister Renee, her stepbrother’s Jonathan Andre, AlPhonso (Tanachi), and Jeffery.

5 nieces… Lanice, (Tuga) Chemere (Fatty)

Little Rita , Timesha (Baps) and Kamryn..Three nephews Archie and Arthur. (The Twins) and Dontae’..

And Also her boyfriend Calvin..
