It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Levi McKinley Nesbitt, born on June 9, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas. A dedicated father, brother, and friend Levi departed this world on October 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Levi spent many years of his life navigating the open roads, delivering goods and embodying the spirit of reliability and responsibility. His wisdom and life experiences taught invaluable lessons to all those around him.
He is survived by his beloved daughters and siblings who will forever cherish the memories of their him. His gentle spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
In honor of Levi's life, a public viewing will be held at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Thursday, November 13, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM. His family invites all who knew him to come pay their respects and celebrate his life.
The family hour will take place the following day, Friday, November 14th, at 10:30 AM, also at the funeral home and the funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, where friends and family will gather to reflect on the cherished moments shared with Levi.
Levi's final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit, MI.
As we remember Levi McKinley Nesbitt, we celebrate a life filled with love, dedication, and resilience. May he find peace in the arms of those who have gone before him, and may his memory live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his kindness.
