It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Loraine Walker, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on January 22, 2026, at the age of 72. Loraine was born on July 18, 1953, in River Rouge, Michigan, and spent her life nurturing her family and those around her with boundless love and kindness.

Loraine's greatest pride was her children, who she raised with unwavering devotion. As a dedicated mother and wife, she created a warm and loving environment for her family, emphasizing the importance of compassion, commitment, and connection. Her nurturing spirit and infectious laughter will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

In honor of Loraine's life and legacy, a Public Viewing will be held Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A second viewing will occur Friday, January 30th, from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The Family Hour will take place Saturday, January 31st, at 10:00 am at New Hope Tabernacle Church, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
