March 2, 1955 — April 14, 2024

Lynnette Elise Jordan, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 69, surrounded by her loving family.

Lynnette was born on March 2, 1955, in Detroit, MI to Albert and Geraldine Hester. She grew up in Detroit and was known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering optimism. Lynnette touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth and genuine compassion.

After graduating from Pershing High School in 1972Lynnette pursued a career as a legal secretary and other clerical positions where she excelled with dedication and passion. Her hard work and perseverance earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and clients alike.

Lynette's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife to Carlton Dean Jordan and a loving mother to her children, Tena, Carla and Vincent and daughter in love, Natoshia. She was the grandmother to her angels, Erika, Ernest, Cameron, Mikel, Jaiden, Robyn, Roman and Kahlyese. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the delicious aroma of her cooking, which brought everyone together.

In her free time, Lynnette enjoyed riding her motorcycle and holds a deep appreciation for the Sin City Motorcycle Club. Lynette’s other hobbies were gardening, reading, playing computer games and, what brought her the most joy, caring for her family.

Lynnette is preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jerome, Ronald and Eric Hester.  Lynnette will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and love will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

Forever in our hearts, Lynette's spirit will live on through the memories we shared and the love she bestowed upon us.
