Maggie Margaret Boatman - Shaffer

March 16, 1926 — December 29, 2023

Maggie Margaret Linton was born March 16, 1926 to William & Mamie Linton in River Junction, Florida.She was the 6th of 8 children, 7 sisters and one brother.

Maggie married Cannon Boatman Sr. at the age of 16,with an 11th grade education. And gave birth to her first child at 19 years old, Alma Mae. To this union 8children were born. They moved from Pine Bluff Arkansas to Willow Run, Michigan where Cannon Boatman Sr. started C. Boatman Construction. Maggie was found on occasion helping to build the business by driving trucks and pouring cement with her husband.

After 26 years, their marriage ended and Maggie with now 5 children at home, went back to school,finished high school and got her degree from the University of Detroit and became a kindergarten teacher.

Maggie became a Minister under the Ministry of Reverend Dr. James Francis Jones, Founder of Universal Triumph the Dominion of God. When Maggie had a serious bus accident, and the doctors told her that she only had days to live, Prophet Jones healed her and told her that she would live longer than the doctors who told her that. And she did.

Maggie married Rev. Lord James Shaffer who succeeded Prophet Jones and she became First Lady of Universal Triumph the Dominion of God. As Maggie preached and taught, her Ministry in Wellness and Herbology grew. With the help of God, She has helped heal many of illnesses & diseases through her knowledge of herbal teas and healthy eating.

In 1988 Maggie lost her beautiful beloved daughter Dianeto a plane crash in Lockerbie, Scotland. And instead of blaming God, she honored God by building a new Thankful Center for Universal Triumph the Dominion of God.

Maggie departed this life December 29th. She was preceded in death by: 2 husbands and 4 children. Her husband Reverend Lord James Shaffer, Cannon Boatman Sr., her children, Alma Marie, Cannon Jr., Calvin and Diane. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Louise, Lazet(Reginald), Michael, Sharon(Anthony). Her grandchildren, Darren, Trezavant, Lorraine, Andrea, Tess Faye,Isaiah, Shadee, & Denise and a host of Great Grandchildren, nephews, nieces,and her special son Rev. Lord Gregory Ramsey and Prophet Banks and Universal Triumph the Dominion of God Congregation.
