With heavy hearts yet joyous spirits, we celebrate the life of Margaret Smith, a cherished mother, grandmother, and heavenly spirit who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on December 28, 1934, in Detroit, MI, Margaret's warm smile and nurturing spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Margaret was a proud graduate with an Associate's Degree and devoted her talent and passion to her career in dentistry. As a dental hygienist, she not only cared for her patients' oral health but also brightened their days with her kindness and unwavering positivity.

She is survived by her loving children who will forever hold her memory in their hearts. Margaret's legacy of compassion, strength, and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew her.

To honor her memory, the family will host a celebratory Funeral Service at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 3:30 PM. Prior to the service, a Family Hour will welcome those wishing to pay their respects from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Friends and family are encouraged to attend the Public Viewing on Wednesday, July 15th, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
