It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Antoinette Edwards, a beloved mother, wife, and dedicated healthcare professional, who left us on February 25, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on January 22, 1943, in Montgomery, Alabama, Marie embodied strength, resilience, and compassion throughout her life, touching the hearts of many.

Marie was a proud mother and a loving spouse to her husband, Melvin. Throughout her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Marie devoted herself to the health and well-being of others, showcasing her unwavering commitment to the healthcare community. Her gentle spirit and caring nature were a source of comfort to her patients and colleagues alike.

A public viewing will be held to honor Marie's life on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 3:00pm - 9:00pm at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Family Hour preceding the funeral service on Friday, March 6th, at 10:30 AM. The funeral service will commence thereafter at 11:00 AM. Following the service, Marie will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
