Marie Murphy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marie Murphy, who left us peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on May 15, 1936, in Luverne, Alabama, Marie was a loving daughter, devoted homemaker, and treasured mother to her children.

Marie's warmth and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her. She created a nurturing home for her family, while showing kindness, strength, and unwavering support and will be deeply missed by her loved ones and friends.

Though we mourn her loss, we celebrate the remarkable life she led and the many memories we hold dear. A memorial service to honor Marie's life will take place at The Event House in Lathrup Village on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM. We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering the joy and light she brought to our lives.

As we come together to honor Marie's life, let us cherish her memory and the love she imparted to those around her. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice in her name, reflecting the compassion she showed throughout her life.
