It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Martin Theodore Goings, a beloved son of Detroit, Michigan, who left this world on October 9, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on October 6, 1944, Martin lived a life defined by unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic as a line worker in the manufacturing industry. His contributions extended beyond his profession, as he was a loving brother, uncle, and friend, embodying a spirit of generosity and kindness.

A man of integrity and warmth, Martin will be remembered not only for his hardworking nature but also for the joy he brought to those around him.

The family will honor Martin's life with a funeral service on October 16, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Prior to the service, a Family Hour will be held at 3:30 PM, allowing loved ones to come together in remembrance and support. Both events will take place at LifeChurch - Southfield.

Following the service, Martin will be laid to rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
