It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Joyce Frazier. Mary was born on August 4, 1929, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, and she dedicated her life to hard work, family, and the deep connections she fostered with those around her.
Mary proudly earned her Associate's degree and worked as a Payroll Clerk propelling forward with strength and grace during her career. Those who had the privilege to know her will remember her unwavering dedication, compassionate spirit, and infectious laughter.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Cynthia Brown, who carries forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. Her family and friends will remember her not just for her accomplishments but for the warmth she brought to every interaction.
In celebration of Mary's life, a public viewing will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. The following day, family and friends are invited to gather for a Family Hour at St. Stephen African Methodist Episcopal Church at 10:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at the same location at 11:00 AM.
Mary will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Memorial Park in Livonia, MI.
As we remember Mary Joyce Frazier, we celebrate her life, the love she gave, and the joy she brought to all who knew her. In grief, we hold close the memories of her warmth and laughter, and we invite all whose lives she touched to join us in honoring her remarkable journey.
