Juanita Mitchell

Mitchell Juanita Born in Detroit on April 5, 1928. She received a BA and MA in Elementary Education from Wayne State University and taught at Roosevelt Elementary school until her retirement. She accepted Christ at an early age and attended Bunton Metropolitan CME Church in Detroit for many years. Juanita was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority for more than fifty years and a member of the Detroit Bridge Unit. Juanita departed this life on November 10, 2010. She leaves to cherish her memory two sons Eric and Brian (Deborah) Mitchell, along with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth C. Mitchell and her parents.
