Orlando Gibson

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Orlando Gibson, beloved husband, son, and friend, who departed this life on September 18, 2025, in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan. Born on July 8, 1965, in Detroit, Orlando lived a life dedicated to his family, his passion for design engineering, and the automotive industry.

Orlando held a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and built a distinguished career as a Design Engineer, where his creativity and expertise contributed to the advancement of automotive design. His work left an indelible mark on the industry, showcasing his dedication and innovative spirit.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Andrea Gibson. Orlando's warmth, laughter, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A public viewing will take place on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. Friends and family will gather to celebrate Orlando's life during the Funeral Service on Monday, September 30th, at 11:00 AM at the Greater Bethlehem Faith Healing Temple, beginning with a Family Hour at 10:00 AM.

Following the service, Orlando will be laid to rest at Detroit Memorial Park West, located in Redford, MI, where he will find eternal peace.

In honoring Orlando's legacy, we remember a kind and talented man whose contributions to his field and his love for his family will forever resonate in our hearts. May his soul rest in everlasting serenity.
