Quinten Jamal Lewis-Merriweather was born on September 18th, 1980 at 6:35 am in Detroit, Michigan. Quinten achieved many milestones throughout his life. He attended Charles Roger's Academy in Detroit, MI. He later graduated from Cody High School in Detroit, MI. During his youth, Quinten become fascinated with barbering. His tenacity, drive, and determination led him to be a successful, self-taught barber. His passion for waves and barbering continued throughout his adult life. In his adulthood, Quinten attended truck driving school, earning his CDL license. After which he began his career as a professional truck driver. Quinten, affectionately known as "Q" or "TankMan" by his friends and family, was an amazing man who loved everyone. In his pastime, Q enjoyed spending time with family, cigars, watching old movies, and listening to old-school music and cars. He loved to look fresh and loved a good-smelling cologne. He was understanding, strong-minded, brave, compassionate, caring, and had no limit when it came to helping others in need of assistance. He had a smile so warm and welcoming, and a laugh that will forever be remembered. Whenever he saw you, he embraced you with an empowering hug, justifying his happiness in seeing you and the love he carried in his heart for you. Let's not forget his deep bass voice that resonated throughout the room whenever he spoke. As his mother would say, "Oh you and that deep sexy voice of yours." ..LOL... Quinten leaves to cherish his precious memories, His Mother: Carol A Lewis- Merriweather. Father: Leon (Calvin) Merriweather, who preceded him in death. Denoris (Bo) Graham. Aunts: Genise (Niecy) Lewis-Bowie who preceded him in death, and Aunt Dorothy Jean. Sisters: Quinette, Tawanda, Angie, LaDonna, Tammy, Kourtney, Eboni, Mia, and Montinike. Brothers: Eric, Leon, Bill, Troy, and Reggie. Fiancé: Alkheya, (and her mother ) Janice. Son: Daniel. Daughters: Taylar and Lyric. Granddaughter: Salana. Nieces: Mya, Lacey, Niajia, Myonia, Myawnia, Meia, E"Mari, La'Nya, and Haley. Nephews: Caleb, Joshua, Eli, Elijah, EJ, Rowan, Marc, Elijahwon, and Brandon. Cousins: Kanika, Mercedes, Za'Rion, and Iris(Izzy). Uncles: Will, Michael, Ricky, Leon (Smokey), and Omar. Godmothers: Dr. Rev. Esther M. Gordon Rose and Theresa Johnson. Godbrothers and best friends: Robert (Bobby), Rodger, Timothy (TJ), Jason, Arthur, Marcel, and Jessie( Googie). In addition, Quinten leaves a host of other loving relatives and friends to cherish his memory.
