Raymond George Bonner was born in Danville, Virginia on August 26, 1970 to Valeria Via-Bonner and Raymond Florence.
Raymond attended Detroit Public Schools and graduated from Mumford High school. One of his most cherished and honored memories was being on the citywide championship swim team at his high school. He was a witty jokester, if you knew him well enough. He was also a jack of all trades who loved to work with his hands whether it be cars, home construction,or working on any type of equipment. He recently started his own business and was very proud of that and being able to provide for his family. His most prideful and greatest enjoyment was his wife and children..He loved his soul mate Toya whom he had been with over twenty years and Raymond loved each of his children ,cared for and raised them with the greatest love a father could ever have..He left us too soon on November 2, 2022 at his home residence.
Raymond leaves behind to cherish his memory: His wife, LaToya; his five children, Jaylen,Rachael,Rayven,Jazlyn, and Raymond Jr; mother,Valeria ; his father, Raymond;( both preceding him in death) his sister, Tia; his brother, Derek (who also preceded him in death); his sisters, Nicol Bonner , Ramona (Ware) Crews , Angelique Carter and his brothers, Julian Branch, James Ware, Raynard Florence, Josiah Simmons and Justin Simmons ; his nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of family members and friends..
