Rosie Raymond

Suddenly, on Thursday, June 7, 2012, Rosie L. Raymond of Fairfax, VA, transitioned from Earth to Glory at the age of 76. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Stephen (René) Smith of New Orleans, LA, Janet Smith (Ashley) Elder, of Centreville, VA and CMDR David (Karen) Smith of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by her sister Irene of Detroit, MI, brothers Edward (Laverne) of Claremont, CA and Stantley of Detroit, MI., seven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Greater Little Zion Baptist Church, 10185 Zion Drive in Fairfax, VA 22032 from 10 to 11 AM where a Homegoing Service will immediately follow at 11AM. Services and Interment will take place on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Indiana Ave. COGIC, 20475 Indiana Ave., Detroit, MI 48221 at 11AM, with Interment immediately following at Detroit Memorial Park – East, 4280 East 13 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092.
