Pamela Reaves

Pamela Denise Reaves began life 65 years ago on November 7, 1955. She was the fifth child born of eight children to the union of the late Katherine & Eddie Reaves in Detroit, Michigan.
Three brothers preceded her in death, Aaron, Gregory and Bruce Kimbrough and one sister Cynthia Moore. Also, her partner John Smith (Smitty), who was near and dear to her and her family.

She attended the Detroit Public School System and acquired her Accounting Certificate at Detroit Business Institute.

Pamela accepted Christ at an early age and later joined St Peters A.M.E. Zion Church.
Pamela was employed by Chrysler, City of Hamtramck and City of Detroit; where she worked for 13 years and retired in December 2015.

"Bay" to all who knew her, was a loving person who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on special occasions. Bay enjoyed partying, playing cards; taking chances at the casino and she loved to shop. She was a very outspoken person.

Bay made her transition to eternal life on January 5, 2021 at home in Roseville, MI.
Bay leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Angela and Brian (Monica) Reaves; her six grandchildren; Amarra, Anthony, Brianna, Brian, Diamond and Zalaya; three brothers, Edward, Jimmy and Mark; two aunts; Goldie and Willia Mae. Her life-long friends: Lorraine Meadow and Rose Lee; her casino partner and friend, Patricia Corley and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
