Anthony Yerdell Reed, Sr. was born September 3rd 1963
in Nashville, Arkansas to Aution Reed, Sr. and Velverly
(Savage) Reed. Anthony, affectionately called "Tony"
received Christ at an early age. When he was a teenager
he would always say to his Brother Weasol and Sister
Sharon... "Let's Go To Sunday School".
Tony graduated from Detroit Public Schools where
he was an outstanding student. He loved all sports and
participated in basketball, was an excellent bowler and
received several trophies and awards. In 1981, Tony
enlisted in the United States Army where he was a proud
soldier and an expert Rifleman, He also received the good
conduct medal and received his honorable discharge on
September 23rd 1984. Tony was employed at Bakers Novelty
and Manufacturing and worked various jobs over the years
including landscaping, which he seemed to enjoy. Tony was
very bright. He loved to read the entire newspaper and was
