It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rena Mae Ross, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished member of the community. Rena Mae was born on April 25, 1939, in Evergreen, Alabama. She departed from this world on October 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Rena Mae dedicated her life to helping others as a dietician in the healthcare industry. Her passion for nurturing others extended beyond her professional life; she was a source of strength and inspiration to her family and friends, always ready to lend a listening ear or a comforting hug.
She is survived by her two devoted sons, Walter Ross and Alvin Ross, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Charlesha Jackson. Her love and wisdom will forever remain in their hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Rena Mae's life will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:30 PM at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. Prior to the service, there will be a Family Hour at 3:00 PM, allowing family and friends a moment to gather and share their memories of Rena Mae. As we remember Rena Mae, let us celebrate the kindness she showed and the love she shared. Her spirit will continue to guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
