It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Wesley Terry, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who departed this life on July 26, 2025, at the age of 86. Ronald was born on December 17, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, where he spent his entire life, contributing to his community as a dedicated driver for the City of Detroit.
Ronald is remembered for his gentle spirit, unwavering commitment to his family, and his many contributions to the community he cherished. Ronald's legacy will live on through the love and memories shared by those whose lives he touched.
In honoring Ronald's life, a public viewing will be held on August 7, 2025, at 9:00 AM, at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. A funeral service celebrating his life and contributions to the community will take place on Friday, August 8th, at 1:00 PM, preceded by a family hour at 12:30 PM. Friends and family are invited to gather and pay their respects during these moments of remembrance.
Following the services, Ronald will be laid to rest at Detroit Memorial Park in Warren, MI, in a solemn burial ceremony. As a proud veteran of the Army, we will honor his service and sacrifices.
