It is with both a heavy heart and a spirit of celebration that we announce the passing of Ruby Belle King, who transitioned to eternal rest on January 16, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on June 2, 1931, in Huntsville, Alabama, Ruby's journey through life was a tapestry woven with strength, resilience, and love.
Ruby's remarkable career as a seamstress in the automotive industry spanned many years at Chrysler, where she was known not just for her skill but for the warmth and dedication she brought to her work. Throughout her life, she served as a beacon of kindness and a source of inspiration for her family and friends.
Ruby was cherished by many, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Ruby's life will take place at Grace Refuge Chapel on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Family and friends are invited to join for a Family Hour at 1:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 1:30 PM, where stories and memories will be shared in her honor. Prior to this, a Public Viewing will be held at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Monday, January 26th, beginning at 3:00 PM.
