With profound sadness yet immense gratitude for her remarkable life, we announce the passing of Ruby Eudell Lay, who left this world on April 26, 2026, at the age of 105. Born on February 27, 1921, in Dublin, Georgia, Ruby devoted her life to her family as a beacon of strength and warmth.

Ruby's journey through life was marked by her unwavering spirit and dedication to her loved ones. She embraced her role as a mother and wife with love and commitment, providing a nurturing environment for her family.

To celebrate Ruby's incredible life, we invite family and friends to join us for a Funeral Service at the James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Prior to the service, there will be a Family Hour beginning at 10:30 AM, providing loved ones with the opportunity to share cherished memories and reflections.

A Public Viewing will be held the day before, Thursday, May 7th, from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM, allowing all who knew and loved Ruby to pay their final respects.

Ruby will be laid to rest following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. While we mourn her passing, we will also celebrate a life that was rich in love, laughter, and legacy.
