Stanford was a dedicated cement truck driver, whose steadfast work ethic and commitment to his profession in the construction industry made him a respected figure among his peers. His contributions to the community will be remembered fondly by all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
A proud Army veteran, Stanford served his country with honor and integrity, embodying the values of service and sacrifice that define our nation. These qualities extended into every aspect of his life, embodying the role as a loving father. His guidance and support has shaped the lives of his children, and their fond memories of him will live on forever.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Stanford's life during the upcoming funeral services, which will take place at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel. The public viewing will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A family hour will precede the funeral service on Tuesday, September 16th, starting at 10:30 AM, followed by the service at 11:00 AM.
Stanford will be laid to rest at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. As we gather to honor his memory, let us reflect on the love, laughter, and joy he brought into our lives. He will be missed, but his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
