It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, Stella M. Walker, age 79, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023. Surrounded by loved ones, she departed after succumbing to a long-standing condition, with grace and dignity. Stella was born on February 10, 1944 to Willie M. Bowden and J.B. Gaskins, in St. Petersburg, Florida. Our hearts cannot express how much she will be missed.
Ms. Walker leaves behind, her loving family, daughter, Wanda Marie Walker, son, Richard Scott Walker; grandsons, Daniel Richard Jansen, Thomas David Jansen and Christophe Scott Jansen; her siblings, brother, Clifford Ray, and sisters, Addie Mae Wallace, Alberta Deloris Mosley and Rosa Mae Morris, as well as a host of dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and her sister-in-law Ursula Walker.
