It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Foster Andrews, Sr., who left us on April 3, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on September 22, 1948, in Council, North Carolina, Thomas was a beloved husband, father, and friend whose impact on the lives he touched will be felt for generations.
Thomas spent his life as a dedicated inspector in the automotive industry, proudly serving General Motors. His commitment to excellence and his unwavering work ethic set a standard that inspired his colleagues and peers.
Thomas was known not only for his professional dedication but also for his warm spirit and generous nature. He had a profound ability to connect with others, creating bonds that transcended time and circumstance. His laughter and kindness will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A public viewing will be held in honor of Thomas at James H. Cole Home for Funerals - Northwest Chapel on Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 4:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Family Hour at the Christian Fellowship of Love on Saturday, April 11th, at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The services will serve as a poignant reflection on Thomas's life, celebrating his legacy and the love he shared with everyone around him.
Following the service, Thomas will be laid to rest at Detroit Memorial Park West in Redford, MI, where he will find eternal peace.
In this difficult time, we remember Thomas Foster Andrews Sr. with gratitude for his life, love, and the ever-present memories he leaves with us. He will remain forever in our hearts.
