Thomas Stanley Stevens

Thomas Stanley Stevens was born on August 14,1954,
in Detroit, Michigan. He was the third child born to
the late Mary Jane and Thomas Stevens. His older
brother Lamont Stevens preceded him in death. He
attended the Detroit Public Schools and graduated
from Central High School.

Thomas worked at several companies, all involving
his leadership skills and ability to troubleshoot and
fix any machine or improve work processes. He held
positions as a Team Leader, a Service Technician, and
a Project Manager. Thomas had many talents, and
one of his favorite pastimes was cooking. He was a
grill master, loved barbecuing, and considered himself
a chef.

Thomas was kind, friendly, and humorous, and his
outgoing and loving personality touched anyone who
knew him. His witty sense of humor brought so much
joy to our family. One of his favorite things to do was
spending hours at the lake fishing with friends and
family.

Thomas passed away unexpectedly on December 10,
2021. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden
death, and he will be truly missed. Thomas always said
he would live life his way, and he did. He loved fiercely
and deeply, and we take comfort in knowing that he is
now at peace.

He leaves to celebrate his life and memory; two sons,
Cameron Stevens and Desmond Stevens; his daughter
Mary Stevens; his sister, Leslie James, grandchildren;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that loved him.
