William Albert Pipkins

William Albert Pipkins was born on August 23, 1933, to the late William and Anna Pipkins in Detroit, Michigan. William was blessed with a loving wife of 63 years of marriage, Verdell Cochran Pipkins. From this union they raised four beautiful children:  Elaine, Albert, Annette, and Andrea. William touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. He was affectionally known to his family and friends as “Bill” and “Uncle Bill” and loved listening to Motown and gospel music, traveling and being with family and friends. William transitioned peacefully on October 21, 2022, at Sinai Grace Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He leaves precious memories to his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
