Willie “Joe” Curry was born on November 30, 1941, in Brandon, Mississippi, to the late Willie and Girlie Curry. He was one of eight children: Mary, Hazel, twins Ned and Neal, Dorothy, Willie-Ray, and Erma.

Joe’s legacy lives on through his loving wife, Elizabeth; his son, Randy (Jill); his grandchildren, Ambrea and Ashley (Jalen); his great-grandchildren, Jaiden and Amora; Though he was preceded in death by his parents and most of his siblings he is survived by his sister Erma, nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and dear friends whose lives he touched with his quiet strength and generous spirit.
